At the Annual General Meeting during Indoor Air 2022 in Kuopio, ISIAQ will install a new Board of Directors (BoD) as required by the bylaws.

A Nominating Committee has been established. The committee members were chosen to encourage diversity and inclusion in the process. The members of the committee are listed below:

3. Marcel Loomans (EU, Past President)
4. Kwok Wai Tham (Asia, Past President)
5. Glenn Morrison (North America, Past President)
6. Pawel Wargocki (EU, President of the Academy)

As with the composition of the nominating committee, we will strive for the next BoD to be representative of our membership, with the following attributes:

• Strong global representation, with members from the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Asia and Pacific Regions to be consistent with the international presence of ISIAQ.
• An inclusive representation of the members of ISIAQ.
• A cross-section of disciplines reflecting the expertise of our current ISIAQ members (scientists, engineers, practitioners) as well as disciplinary areas we would like to grow within the ISIAQ community (medical scientists and practitioners).

The Nominating Committee will actively search for potential board members. At this time, we are announcing an open call for ISIAQ members to nominate themselves as candidates for the BoD. The nominating committee is seeking candidates for the following positions and terms:

• President-Elect (4 years: 1 year President-Elect, 2 years President, 1 year Immediate Past President)
• Treasurer-Elect (2-year term, followed by 2 years as Treasurer)
• Vice President Practice (4-year term)
• Coordinator of STCs (appointment; 2-year term with option to extend for 2 years)
• Student Representative (2-year term)
• Trustee (4-year term)

The nomination form will require you to upload a one-page document including your professional background, a statement of your ideas and intentions if elected as a board member, your consent to be a candidate and to commit to fulfilling all duties if elected, and your signature. Make sure that you sign the document, as unsigned applications are considered void. Nominees should be ISIAQ members in good standing. Applications will be reviewed by the nominating committee, and a list of candidates will be selected for election.
