Hosted in Syracuse, New York—a region at the intersection of innovation, urban reinvention, and environmental stewardship—this international conference will explore how we can create intelligent environments that promote human health, sustainability, affordability, durability, and climate resilience.
The theme for Healthy Buildings America 2027, “Intelligent Environments: Designing, Retrofitting and Operating for a Healthy, Affordable and Resilient Future”, invites global researchers, designers, engineers, and policymakers to share insights on both cutting-edge new buildings and transformative retrofitting of existing spaces. The conference will highlight scalable, effective and efficient technologies, collaborative community-driven design methods and practices, and policy pathways to healthier indoor environments across all building types and communities.
Healthy Buildings America 2027 will take place on June 20-23, 2027, at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown in Syracuse, New York, USA. The conference is hosted by the Syracuse Center of Excellence in Environmental and Energy Systems (SyracuseCoE).
