Join Indoor Environments Editor-in-Chief Yuguo Li in a discussion with author Mark Mulville regarding his article, "Dwelling overheating in risk in cool climates: Assessing the risk in the context of retrofit and climate change in Ireland".

Dr Mark Mulville is Head of the School of Surveying and Construction Innovation at TU Dublin and Director at the Built Environment Research and Innovation Centre (BERIC). A Building Surveyor and Architectural Technologist by training with a career in surveying, technical consultancy and architectural practice prior to pviotting into academia. In excess of ten tears experience in conducting research, securing funding and managing research projects, Marks research interests focus on Building Performance in Use and the Digitisation of the Construction Sector for productivity. Mark is currently Principal Investigator on the CC-DORM project (funded by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland Grant No. RDD855) exploring dwellings overheating in cool climates and the AI-COMPLI projects (funded by Construct Innovate Grant No. CISFC1-24-012) exploring the use of machine learning and computer vision in construction compliance.
