Meet the Speakers:

Oluyemi Toyinbo (PhD) is an environmental health scientist and a researcher with the Good Indoor Air and Building Health research group at the University of Oulu, Finland.

He holds three master’s degrees in General Toxicology and Environmental Health, Public Health, and Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics, as well as a PhD in Environmental Physics, Health, and Biology. He has a strong research background in measurement-based studies on indoor environmental quality (IEQ) assessment, sustainable building design, and the health impacts of environmental exposures, particularly in educational settings.

He is a member of the ISIAQ Scientific and Technical Committee (STC) 34 and pioneered the data entry of IEQ standards on the ISIAQ IEQ Open Database. He also serves as the Chairperson of the Promoting IEQ/IAQ in Africa Innovation Network of ISIAQ, where he leads initiatives to advance indoor environmental research and collaboration across the African continent. Dr. Toyinbo has conducted research across several continents, including Africa, Europe, and North America, has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals, and regularly contributes to international conferences, particularly those organized by ISIAQ.

Dr. Ibeh Gabriel Friday is an atmospheric and environmental physicist and a lecturer at Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Delta State, Nigeria. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Physics and an MSc in Atmospheric Physics from Ebonyi State University, as well as a PhD in Environmental Physics from the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi. His research interests include atmospheric emissions, greenhouse gases, air quality, and the application of artificial neural networks in atmospheric and meteorological analyses.

Dr. Ibeh is a member of several professional and research organizations, including the Nigerian Institute of Physics, the Global Emissions Initiative (GEIA), the Young Earth System Scientists (YESS) Community, the European Geosciences Union (EGU), the GEIA African Working Group, and the Promoting IEQ/IAQ in Africa innovation network of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ). He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has lectured in several institutions across Nigeria and the Benin Republic. He has also presented papers at international conferences such as EGU 2024, GEIA 2025, and Healthy Building Asia 2025.

Dr. Raja Singh is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Department of Environmental and Occupational Healh, Dornsife School of Public Health, Drexel University, where he is currently focusing on environmental and indoor materials like asbestos. He has a PhD in Airborne Infection control in buildings from SPA New Delhi. His research integrates architecture, public health, and policy perspectives to improve indoor air quality and mitigate disease transmission risks in built environments. He is a member of the Promoting IEQ/IAQ in Africa Innovation Network of the International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (ISIAQ), contributing to global efforts to advance healthy indoor environments through research and collaboration.
