As leaders in a scientific field you may find yourself on the other end of a microphone when issues become of importance to the general public. How can we best communicate the complexities of what we do in soundbites that will resonate with a variety of audiences? And how do we do that in situations of crisis that are fueled by emotion? In this session we will discuss best practices in communicating scientific information through various media channels and during differing times of uncertainty.
